Ingredients.
1 Cup - Rice flour
2 Cups - Water
1/4 tsp - Cumin seeds
1/4 tsp - Ajwain seeds
1/4 tsp - Sesame seeds
1/2 tsp - Papad khar
1 tbsp - Green Chili paste
Salt to taste
Directions.
1.Boil the water. Add all the masalas to the boiling water.
2.Allow to boil for another 4-5 minutes.
3.Pour the rice flour slowly in to boiling water.
4.Now mix flour and water together and make small balls.
5.Steam the flour balls in a thali and then placing the thali on a stand in a large vessel filled with water for 30 to 35 minutes.
6.Serve hot rice balls with oil and pickle masala.
This looks really interesting. But never assume too much ... I admit my ignorance, I have no idea what a thali is. What is it?

When I make Khichu it gets very lumpy. Sevral little uncoocked flour pockets gets formed as soon as I add the flour to the water. Is there a trick how the flour is dumped in the water? Or how to mix the water and flour? Mine comes out really lumpy everytime :(
